I hear a mix of old Pink Floyd with some mid-Floyd era works with Akira Yanaoka's Silent Hill themes, minoring in Miranda Sex Garden, with splashes of Mastodon - Coldplay - Graeme Revell - The Killers - Alice in Chains. There are songs with angst, emotion, power, and unidentified musical components. He's better and more diverse than David Gilmour's solo efforts and I can feel the Syd Barret-Roger Waters influence.
Seriously though, he's made his own unique music that is nigh impossible to fence into any category.
